    Acorns dropping like crazy. Had a 115 3 year old 8 at 20 at first light should be good. Just need his big bro to show.

    Had neat encounter with a 6 pt . Grunted him to a stop. Grunted him to me 17 yards away .not what wanted to kill

    Glad I brought a hoodie today, it's a bit brisk. Nothing moving yet, moon was out in force last night. Going to sit until around 9/10 or later if my back holds up.

    Well I had this happen. I was scanning the woods farely sure i had everything covered, so i looked down at my phone. I then hear a crunch below me, so I causually glance down expecting a squirrel. But to my suprise a spike had snuck up on me and was at the base of my tree!! I about had a heart attack! I still do not know where i came from. It was like it came out of the ground!

    Live from the hotel stand. Haven’t hunted this spot before, but there is a nice watering hole. Hasn’t been too much activity, but the great thing about this spot is 90% of the squirrel population has been flattened on the highway.

    I might pack it in and take a break. Hope to be back in this afternoon.
