Well, I did have perfect conditions, so I can't complain about that. You could hear a pin drop. But, I didn't see anything, I mean not even a squirrel!

It was exactly the same for me tonight. The only animal I saw was a buzzard fly over!

Not live nor from a stand...but it's always fun in the snow. Didn't see a damn thing. I may try again tomorrow afternoon. Already thinking of spring Turkey and shed hunting. Also I may have a new job soon since the shut down persists. Crazy start to 2019. 20190112_172646.jpeg 20190112_164152.jpeg

Dude I'm glad you're on it. We have been fortunate enough to still have power, but a lot of friends dont. Thank you for what you do brother!

Went out a few hours this morning. Overcast, windy and cold. The day called for bacon, a pile of it, so came back home and ate bacon. At this point it's just nothing more than seeing it out, the season that is. Started gathering material and building sets for trapping coyotes and bobcats, so I have that going for me.

This is one of my favorite posts in a while mostly because you mentioned eating a pile of bacon.

I once had a staring contest with Nick Offerman at a butcher shop over the last of the bacon. He went home empty handed and I told the wife about meeting "Ron Swanson" while eating a BLT.

If I recall correctly things were going well. He has been commenting recently in the 2018 nfl thread. Yuge Pat's fan.

Well I hunted tonight but no luck. Tuesday is it for us in my neck of the woods. I did see 5 does run behind the house around 2pm so I set up where I thought they might show up. Nope. I'll try again tomorrow and probably the last day of season. Where did the season go?!

Hey Texas! Hope that pic was only a demo and not how you plan to really shoot that thing. Looks like the barrel is on your shooting sticks.

BeforeBi forget....is there a way to remove the dislikes I gave you and CLS? I read through both the 2017 and 2016 LFTS threads and working on the 2015. I think the dislikes come from scrolling through those hitting it accidentally.
