Would love to be able to go back in time and see how it got there.

You're in the better spot for significant accumulations for sure. I'm actually thinking about rescheduling my dentist appt Friday and hunting both before and after/during the system. They have to be moving a bit more one of them mornings.

Deer feeding season now they just stand and watch me dump the feed from 40 yards. Funny to watch their tails twitch when I shake the bucket.

Well I snuck out for a few hours this morning, saw my same does and younger bucks. Nice morning though, beautiful sunrise with an overcast sky. Might head back out this evening since my scheduled meeting for this afternoon is on hold and they are still just doing basic dirt work on the new build house.

I'm giving it a go tonight. Winter storm coming tomorrow so maybe I'll get lucky and see some deer.

I have a theory as to why I'm not seeing them and it has to do with food. I suspect they are hitting the neighbors round bails but I dont have a camera pointed that way to confirm.

I looked a few weeks ago and the closest I could find was a couple hours away. I think I can find some, but it's been insane around here lately.

I went Wednesday afternoon after work and had no luck on the deer front but I did smoke my first squirrel with my bow. 20 yard shot from my deer stand.

Looks like St. Louis area is gonna get pounded with a foot of snow. Wish I had an acre or 2 of standing beans
