    Looks like they’re filtering out of this bedding and running along the river to crops to my north. A lot of fresh sign and big tracks. Probably all nocturnal but we will see

    I’ve got some toms with beards dragging the ground 100 yds in front of me and a turkey tag in my pocket. It won’t take much for me to let one fly. They aren’t moving this way too fast though

    Ended up seeing 10 does 3 little bucks and 1 good buck. Better than I thought it would be with this crappy weather.

    I'll be back in the stand this weekend although weather conditions look like crap all weekend with 90% thunderstorms both days. I have two more weekends to get it done with a bow until our season is over. #worstseasonever haha

    Was going to go down south to the farm tomorrow. Had my truck packed up and everything but just had a death in the extended family. Will have to hunt close to home if I get out at all. This passing was a good thing. No more suffering.

    I don't know when I'll get out. My wife fractured her ankle on Christmas day and is off her feet and depending on me for most everything. Lord help us. Lol. I hope to sneak out here close to home but my Saturday evening hunt is now out as well for other reasons. It's been a weird week.

    One of the guys shot last night at a giant. Listening to how the deer reacted I thought he missed. We looked this morning in the pouring rain and didn't find anything.
