    thanks for the heads up about bucks shedding. I don't hunt does in any of my buck areas for that particular reason. this time of year I make sure they are within 20 yds so I can look them over well before shooting.

    About to head out for an evening sit. Had an exciting evening yesterday. I am set up in the woods off the corner of a crp field. Between 4.30pm and last light I had 7 does, 4 younger bucks and my #2 shooter come through. I would have taken the shooter but... he has lost one side.

    Merry Christmas to all! Got a couple gifts related to archery: a Morrell High Roller target cube and a NAP stabilizer green light so I can go target some hogs at night.

    Already tested both and was kick ass for both!

    I am muzzleloader hunting Iowa. Sitting on a secluded picked corn field just off a creek bed. Just wish it wasn't raining.
