waiting for my digestive system to cooperate this AM. Hate to hit the road for a 3 hour drive before I've uneaten.

I should be LFTS (or LFTCRP) by 2pm EST.

I got froze off stand at 8:30. Once my toes go, I go. Foot warmers must not have worked. May have stepped on some snow and got them wet while getting dressed. Firat time I have had to leave stand with cold feet in qbout 10 years.

Didn't see a thing. Bumped nothing on the way in or out. No deer in the fields, no squirrels just a few birds and could hear some turkey on the neighboring property.

Was absolutely perfect conditions, don't know what to think of it.

I'm blowing this pop stand in 45 minutes. I need some tree stand therapy.

Doe only at home so I think I'm headed to MI to see what survived gun season.

How far do you guys think deer will move to a food source?

I was absolutely flabbergasted on my way to the property to see beans still standing. Probably about 50-70 acres about 2.5 miles from the property.

I'm not blaming this on today's lack of activity, but it just got me curious. Not even sure they would know the beans are still standing, not like deer utilize word of mouth

Is rattling and calling still effective now? Or should you just try and find the food sources in this cold, sit and wait?

The property is hunted. Can see a huge box blind. Probably has electric and plumbing from the looks of it

I've been on the stand for about thirty minutes now. Perfect wind direction and speed, overcast and temps are dropping, rain predicted around 6pm. Let's just see what happens.

Kinda wish I had brought the recurve and a few blunt tips, squirrels are plentiful out here and fat.

Late season food is KING, I have had deer vacate a property because of the food source, they just bed closer to it. If you can find a good trail going to it you would be in business.

What a disappointment, 6 hours looking over a big travel corridor and not even a fawn.

On stand and haven t seen anything yet. I was going to move my stand closer to the turnips when I came in. Once I got to my stand there were deer tracks everywhere around it. I elected to keep the stand where it is seeing the deer must feel comfortable around it. Shooting that doe the other night must not have effected anything. See how it goes. Good luck to all.
