    Wish I could get out today..at work now and the wife shot me down for an evening hunt ha. Looking like maybe next week. Plus side is gun season pushed a mature buck on one of the farms I hunt and we are consistently getting pictures. He’s no giant but a deer i hope to get a chance at. Another gun season next weekend. Hoping one of my big boys show up again. We’ve seen not hide nor hair from one since September...

    I just had 4 does bedded within 10 yards...while I walked a powerline at work. Darn city deer didn't even run, just stood up and watched me.

    Just got on stand. Doing better today than I did yesterday. Didn't jump any on my way in. Hunting this farmland just feels wierd compared to the big woods. Perfect weather conditions. Hope tonight is the night!

    that is a stud and a great shot. My favorite exit wound location.

    I haven't hunted since Nov. 11 either. 2 in the freezer already and weather hasn't cooperated when I was going to make the time.
    That changes this weekend! 2nd rut should be revving up this week.
