    I haven't started using deodorant soaps or scented deodorant yet. I'll be out there Friday morning, hopefully in a fresh snowpack but likely in cold weather gear.

    I still have 3 tags and can still shoot a buck. Been several years since I have hunted in December.

    On a side note, I've been binge watching THP the past few days.

    I really feel like after watching several episodes I could really screw the property up big time trying their tactics

    unless I get some fresh snow in MI this week I will be trying their windbump strategy with my .44 next weekend in some CRP/honeysuckle bedding areas. Going to be plenty cold but not sure on the snow. Before anyone says anything about being out of gun season; it's in a CWD zone so any legal firearm is good in MZ season.

    Been in the stand since 6.10am, nothing. Big ol goose egg yesterday, figured the wind kept them down. Thinking my #1 shooter did not make it through gun season. Might just head down to southwest Oklahoma in the next couple hours and go sandhill crane hunting tonight.

    Hopefully your wrong about your shooter.
    Jealous about the sandhill cranes. Would love to put a few of those down and on the grill.

    Last day of this gun season in OH. Currently 54 and sunny. Going to hang a stand for the late season today. I have some good intel on where to set up to fill my doe tag. I haven’t had a shooter on camera in awhile but I’m going to put out a few more cameras and see if I can find one. Lots of season left in OH.

    I may try to pop back over there for some more bowhunting. I have to redeploy my cell cams anyway so I might as well try to hunt while I'm there. Good luck to you!

    I'm out. Little frustrated and tired of hunting. This just has not been a good season for me. I will more than likely be back out this evening, begrudgingly .
