    Alright boys light one up for me in the morning while I’m questioning life and sanity at swim practice in the AM. Light a nock or a bowl, I don’t care, but light something.

    Happy December men. Plenty of more great hunting to come. Can’t wait for my winter break to hit it HARD. This is the month of the diehards; don’t hang the bow up now.

    Great job on a great buck.

    Congratulations to the doe killers out there.

    I'm taking a week off from deer hunting - have hunted a lot lately and I'm going to let things settle down. Headed out perch fishing in a few hours. Looking to score on 11-12 inch perch on Pentwater Lake. Maybe some goose hunting this evening.

    Rifle sit this morning. Heard deer living at home packing the car. Saw the deer cruising on the drive here including a spike walking the yellow line on the rd...drunk with lust.

    Sprinkles overnight and rain later today.

    Waiting on the sunrise the herons are already squaking.

    The afternoon will have me back on bathroom re model finishing sanding, taping and priming. The boss has laid down the mandate to wrap up the project.

    Well here he is.... awesome deer. I imagined more of a crazy rack when my uncle described him humping a doe at 200yds lol. They found him 10yds inside the timber where they backed out from. They are rough scoring him in the mid 170’s. I wouldn’t have guessed that high but pics are deceiving.     Been on the stand since 6.15am this morning. The only thing moving is the tacos I ate last night. Perfect wind direction for my safety third set, wind speed is a little more than I prefer but it beats being at work or on the couch.

    4 doe and 2 bucks thus far. One buck looked a little busted up and was a definite shooter but I only got to look at him briefly before he slipped in the trees 200 yds away and disappeared. Other than the wind, it’s a beautiful morning
