    Saw a bunch of does tonight and a couple of little bucks. No more deer hunting for the next week. I'm headed out fishing for perch and steelhead this weekend. Good luck.

    Well after mentioning "the hunting public" I decided to go check them out. I watched all 6 episodes of mapping bucks using onx and the amount of effort and time they put into teaching you and the effort getting setup for the hunt is pretty awesome. They share the same passion we all do and do a pretty good job of putting the work into public land hunting. Will def be watching more of them. Wish I had heard of them a while back. Either way if you have time to check out how they do things it's pretty cool.

    The rut is a great time to hunt bc it is when we hunt.....most of us put in 80 percent of our hunting time during the rut....therefore we see most of our deer during that time and start equating that with the only time we feel comfortable spending time hunting.

    Change the game. Hunt when you have the time. Basically...hunt them down and kill them. Bring on December. I cant wait to get in range of a December buck.

    I shot my buck last year on January 7th. 145 3/8 nine point. I don’t stop til the season is out ha. Which is February here!

    Just have to get through work today then I will be in the tree in NJ with the mathews in hand tomorrow, hoping i can hunt the private farm in PA on saturday, might take the bow out if i can. Otherwise I will be out on game lands with the .30-06 trying to get it done. Good luck to anyone who is out!

    They’re definitely hardcore. Love the blend of technique and styles each member of the crew has. The methods they employ are the most adaptable to any given situation that there is. It’s old school, doing whatever it takes. I try to follow their style and approach but have a hard time finding the time to not half Ass it. These guys are young, don’t appear to have kids or anything tying them down. Is Envy a sin? :confused:
