    Just got in. Foggy here. Sitting in the thick with a couple openings. I think Mr. Big is bedding up by the barn but need it to get back to archery for N.Y. to get him if I'm right. Tracks going in and out of a little acre and a half spot between house and road. Good luck everyone.

    Nothing yet. Deer usually stroll through around 9 or so in this area. About the time the fog should be burning off lol

    Well got skunked today. All the coon dogs weren’t even barking lol. The jackass sounded off a couple time though and usually that’s a good sign lmao. In a last minute decision I’m deciding to take the smoke pole tomorrow. Was planning on strictly bow hunting but I’m gonna try to have fun with it. Main goal is to get a young man his first deer. He’s hunted the last five years and has yet to get to shoot so that’s our goal whether I have to push some to him or not. He’s so excited and now he has me excited haha.

    No its a good thing. I have have also shot quite a few in there also. Most of the misses was because of deflection off branches. The one yesterday was a complete air ball, all my fault on that one.

    Need advice folks! I have been planning a slow stalk/set up on good sign hunt on the public land bordering the house I just bought. We are to have a snow storm tonight get a bunch of snow starting around 3-4. I’m sure you have seen the storm. Should I even go out with the winds in at 20mph? Never tried anything like this let alone in this weather.

    Thank you sir. First time I’ve got the opportunity to hunt with him haha. He’s a young autistic man. It’s so funny because he’s called all of us about five times each day for the last week lol he can’t wait any longer. Just met up with him and let him build up a nice little natural blind and shoot his gun! This is probably the most fun I’ve ever had in the deer woods. As far as his shooting, if we get him one in there, it’s probably not gonna make it ha.

    Well last attempt for a doe during regular gun season. Smoke pole season starts tomorrow, then a 3 day doe only season in December. Its crazy there are any deer left to procreate!
