    Not quite live, but 20 minutes after sunrise today my Buddy that invited me for a bowhunt sends me a text saying he shot at a small buck. I asked what direction he ran , Buddy says towards me. One minute later I see the buck running down the ridge. Buck stopped and stood there.
    I told my Buddy not to come any further as I was watching him.
    Buck had red down his right front leg. Thought that was good.
    I watched him bed twice and appear to have his mouth open, and thought he stumbled.
    After an hour my Buddy ants I agree to leave him, head into town for chow, then get him...hoping he’s dead.
    As I get down the buck gets up and walks up the ravine.
    After breakfast we find lots of blood, some spirting, but after 1/2 mile it dried up and during two more hours of looking we found nothing.
    Everything was great today except loosing a nice buck. I hope he lives.

    Congrats on the doe!

    This tree stand is crazy. Saw a shooter to early this morning. Tonight, had 2 bucks with a hot doe - almost positive they were bedded 150 from me in golden rod. One was a decent 10...I think I'd shoot him, but at 170 yards i couldn't judge him too well. SE wind means I shouldn't go to that stand in the morning.
