Something cruising should come through in next hour. Sunlight hitting. Thermals. Tracks tell me there is a good deer population here. Just havent seen them.

After celebrating a little too hard after my kill Monday evening and then skinning and quartering the buck about midday yesterday I was pretty tired last night so I'm being lazy again this morning. I decided to take the morning off again and get a little more rest.

I'll get back out this afternoon. While gun season is over now I still expect to hear some gun shots around me here.

I was already familiar with this part of the country and these hill folk don't always play by the rules.

Couldn’t hunt this morning cleaning for family coming down for thanksgiving and waiting on a mattress delivery thats late . Just saw a yote in the backyard while scanning for deer in the binos. I’m an opportunistic killer.[IMG].

Taking a down day today or maybe just the morning. Had a tough time staying awake on stand yesterday. Still have 4 more days after today.

    Good luck guys!

Nothing trailing her. I bet another hunter getting down bumped her. Found a climbing stand a couple hundred yds from here yesterday.

I'm looking forward to getting back out.

I've gotten quite a few bucks on camera but there was one that made an appearance on the 7th that I would love to get a shot at if he survived the hail of bullets around here.

It's a crappy pic because he just barely got in range of the camera. This is a zoomed in screen shot. He looks like a solid 10 point.

I'll probably pass on does for the next few days since there is decent rut activity here right now.

I don't know who I pissed off bylt damn my luck.

Animal control just called. I have to take my cat in for bite confinement and has to be held until 11/26 then tested for rabies. Then I have to have her microchipped. Luckily with tomorrow being a holiday they are closed tomorrow and Friday so if I take her on Saturday it will only cost me $240.

Wanted to tell him a .22 shell only costs 5 cents, but didn'ylt think he'd appreciate the humor.

I'm killing something tomorrow and it won't be a cat

I think I'm being punished for not hunting every day of my vacation.

Life lesson everyone, if you have the time available to hunt get your ass in a tree
