I don't think I could ask for a more perfect set up. East wind will give me an ideal crosswind for the walk in, south to southeast would be great for just about every stand location, especially if it were southeast. Anything easterly is awesome, the more east the better.

    Wednesday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 28. East wind 3 to 7 mph.

    Thanksgiving Day
Sunny, with a high near 50. South southeast wind 7 to 9 mph.

I'm still confused whether his name is Sobi and he speaks in third person, may still be an option if so

Ouch! My other half had a buck lunge at him... he is alright... buck, not so much! Some times we get so excited to lay hands on, we forget the basics!

My God, that's nasty!!! He's lucky he still has both eyes. I don't think that lesson could have been learned any harder.

Seen that earlier. Pretty crazy to say the least. Don't ever recall seeing something this severe with a deer getting back up.

Since we are on crazy hunting incidents this reminded me of a story I had heard many years ago. It happened from a hunter falling out of a lockon while climbing down. He had a pack on his back and a large set of rattling antlers. From what I remember is he fell and he was severly punctured by the antler causing him to be unable to move from the ground. Someone ended up finding him a day or 2 later and from what I remember he survived. Just a crazy story. I have always watched where those are when going up or down a tree. Really gets you thinking what if it had happened to you. Food for thought. Stay safe out there guys!
