I reciprocate the respect even more so and I appreciate this a ton. Seriously, I’m not picking a personal fight here. I think very highly of you on this forum. However, I still disagree.

If I was on here making racist jokes, bringing up heavy, modern contemporary issues and making critical judgements on serious issues from mere generalizations then that, in my opinion, is an entirely different story. Satirizing something as unimportant (in the scheme of things) as gun hunting to me doesn’t compare or warrant anywhere near the same response or reaction. For god sakes, I’m a gun hunter. An ANNUAL gun hunter. In fact, I find it almost amusing that I am taking the time to explain that post. Why? Because you guys KNOW me! I’m not some closed-minded, elitist, bow only preaching dbag.

If I were to make a joke or statement in sincerely bad taste then that’s quite different. But to me, using “will cause heartache” in regards to me making a “slob” generalization of gun hunters (which I also am) is making something into an entirely unnecessarily heavy handed issue.

Honestly, if someone was generally upset by it, get over it. I don’t care.

I also disagree that it’s not the sensitive folks fault. It is entirely their fault. They (whoever they are) are the upset ones. I’m going to continue my night with zero regret as to what I said, knowing my intent and comfort on the form.

I won’t lose any sleep if some shmo is hurt by a comment this simple. And I don’t take it back. In fact, people like that make me want to say it again, in all caps.

I love ya tony. This isn’t with any disrespect to you, or even about you for that matter.

Please don't call them hunters. They're poachers.

About to head to the stand for a short hunt. I can only fit in an hour, but before anyone gives a smh to this...I'm working from home and my stand is a 10 minute walk from my back door. If/when I kill anything recovery wont be an issue.

    Good luck everybody!

Fellow hunters, FYI...I am working a half day at work here in Arkansas, then the family and I are headed to Kentucky for our annual Thanksgiving/hunting trip. I cannot wait. I will be in the stand most every morning and probably 5 evenings. This will be my main hunting time for the whole year! I have already logged over 50 hours this year in a tree, without harvesting a deer. I did shoot a doe in early season, but it was a high meat hit. Therefore with no blood, I did not find her. I have not been able to get a bowkill for 2 years now. Basically, if it is brown, it is down! (Except for a spike). Have a great day and good luck to those who are out! KILL!!!

I’m set up. Slipped walking down hillside and fell carrying climber was little icier than I thought. See what happens a lot of shooting lanes closed off with ice and snow on the trees. 56406366591__2C05D7BB-CA36-4A15-9E0A-7EE4C210FE63.jpg
Probably stick out but giving it a go!
