    Neighbor to the west is sighting in his deer rifle. Hopefully it pushes the deer this way! I dont care much for the orange army, not bc I dislike rifle hunters, but bc this place has a fairly busy road out front and it never fails that at some point during rifle season we catch a road hunter. I'm two steps ahead of them this year.. Stopped by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife and invited them to set up the dummy deer. It's good to know people..

    lol I'm comically generalizing. Besides, I am heading up to the farm to gun hunt with my dad immediately after school tomorrow and I cant be more excited (more so hoping to see my dad kill a good one). It's like being Australian and making jokes aimed directly at all Australians; its okay. :lol:


    it got a bit snowier than i had expected tonight but I still saw some does and small bucks.

    This “orange slob” was out with his mini “orange slob” (my son) today. We bumped a button buck while walking around in the snow. I enjoy both aspects of bow and gun. Each has there differences. We must rate the same in Shane’s eyes as cops. Lol

    Gun season opens Saturday and I cannot wait to try and shoot a deer with my .44 mag, .30-06, and / or muzzleloader... I love hunting deer ... the weapon is secondary for me

    Ohhhh boy, here goes the offended internet again. I absolutely love people who cannot take anything with a grain of salt. Must be a miserable way to live though. rRead my above post. For the past 3 years I've posted SEVERAL of my OWN gun kills (two elk, 1 mule deer, a doe, and two bucks) .
    Myself and my entire family are the slobs I referred to...I killed my very first deer with a gun and have gun hunted every year since. Oh no, did I hurt some feelings? Awwww, in that case I'm very remorseful.
    But hey, what good is a sense of humor?

    Well the neighbor has been shooting for a solid hour now, during the best part of the evening. I ain't seen $hit. Mildly irratated. Can't wait to turn this 70 acres into a prime subdivision with a busy body nosey hoa president.

    I saw exactly 0 deer. That stand sits on top of the hill and I can see a lot. Just not deer apparently. May hunt a bit in the morning.
