    I'm a bit optimistic about Thanskgiving given some of your reports as of late.

    I really don't know how many will be slug slinging where I hunt(I won't) but hopefully a few doe are taken. I might take 2 regardless befoee season is out, but if this weekend can force the bucks to seek a bit longer then it will be to my benefit.

    Wouldn't let me post earlier. Had an awesome night in the field, at one point had 15 deer in front of me. My #1 came in late, stayed just enough away as it was getting pretty dark. A nice 8 chasing, if he woulda come in another 20 yds I woulda let him have it.

    Roll call! Opening day of firearm season here in Michigan. Will be joining the orange army. Taking my son hunting this morning as well. Hoping he gets a shot at one. 28 degrees here and a storm front should be moving in around 10 am. Hoping it has them on their feet. Good luck to those getting out today

    Well I'm back home in Indiana where I no longer have a buck tag. With two deer in the freezer I'm not sure if I will attempt to take any more does here. I may try to pop back over to Ohio for a weekend or two, I'm not sure. Had a great time the last 10 days over there though. Go get 'em killers!
