This thread was pretty quiet for the most part today it seemed like or either that I didn't see a lot of kills ? For me to do several trainings and to come back to only a page or two is pretty rare this time of season.

Site was down most of the day. Was a rough time at work.

Makes sense now! I would go a couple hours before checking and come back to nothing! It was more disappointing than my work day lol. I was hoping to see some arrows flying today!

That explains why I felt lost while I wasn't seeing any deer.

19* in the morning, I hope I can muster up the strength to get out there.
The north winds are also throwing me a curveball. This property just isn’t set up for it, especially in the morning.
My “go to” spots are gone with a N wind.
Oh well, I still have backup plans.
    Good luck out there!

Good luck in the morning! I am pulling for you. You deserve a deer with all the effort and time spent this season. Get em!!! I will be in KY next week to hunt all week. Can't wait.

I guess that's technically not true. I draw, find the target through the sight aperture, then the pin through the peep, then back to the target. Seems complicated when I think about it. Maybe I should go to the ezsite!

I have actually been thinking of getting rid of my peep and going to a kisser instead. I would think if your anchor is correct and your bubble is level then you wouldn't need the peep. I do have trouble seeing thru the peep at lower light.

I did have a pretty awesome evening. Eight does, three fawns, a button and ol forkie chasing everything to and fro. One of the does happened to be a piebald. Pretty sure she is what had ol forkies hopes up.

that's cool, I've only ever seen one in person and it barely qualified. Just one white splotch on its shoulder.
Can you and would you shoot her if in range?

I've only ever seen 2. Nothing spectacular like that. One of them is actually at the place we live now. She had a white tipped ear on one side.

I agree. My kids have been around it since they were born and this year my son who is 8 shot his first deer with his crossbow. He helped track it, load it, hang it, and process it. I showed him how to skin it and he got his buck knife that my dad gave him on his first birthday and went to work. He skinned out the front shoulders pretty much by himself with no issues. (This was on a deer that was gutshot.) He handled it better than a lot of adults that I know.

I go back to back to where I got the double for shotgun. Supposed to snow most of the day tomorrow, should be interesting.
I didn’t even bring the gun this year though.

Not sure if my post went through with the site being down yesterday, my awesome manager told me to take a sick day and get my butt in the woods! So I woke up at 2:30 and am currently at Dunkin’ Donuts in jersey waiting for a nice warm sandwich before I hit the woods for my Hail Mary all day sit! Calling for 3-5 inches of snow tomorrow so I have to HOPE that has the deer on their feet today, this past weekend was thought mentally sitting all day and not seeing anything until the last 30, minutes but I’ve got one more all day in me! Good luck to those that are out!
