Venison tips is what's for dinner

Mushrooms, gravy packet, cream of mushroom soup and cup of water then bake at 300 for 3 hours. Add noodles or potatoes

It was. Last year, I killed a 110 8 point that was 20 inches wide. I have a 125 on the wall from a rifle hunt years ago. This six point was wider than both and had more mass than both. His G2s were at least 12 inches. Brows were 6 inches. I doubt I will ever see another six point like that again. Unless he sticks around in the river bottom I have been hunting.

    There you are, jerks!
I took the climber into perfect little ambush spot this afternoon. But the winds are all over the place and I don’t have a good feeling about it. Already got busted by little six pointer!

Had an Ok morning. A couple bucks chasing does out of the bedding area. The usual cast of young bucks. Where’s all the big shooters?

He’s calling just 35 yds upwind of the decoys. I’m the down-winder. If the beast is mad and wants to brawl my bud should get a shot. If he’s weary and wants to circle downwind.....well he had a good life up until then.
