    I've said it before, but the 2 pair of the bass pro socks that I bought are without question literally the best $25 I've ever spent on hunting equipment.

    The extreme cold actually have about half the wool content of the all purpose sock. The have a "carbon heat" fiber (7%). Never heard of it so not sure that it actually contributes to warm.

    Contemplating a move for the afternoon. Have been watching a steady stream of does move off to my east. I don’t see how I’m going to be able to move under the current conditions. Might just suck it up unless the wind changes dramatically.

    I almost killled a nice public land 8 point on the other side of this Friday night. He was locked on to a doe and behind some bushes. Never gave me a clear shot. Hoping he is still in the area.

    by the way, I know you know this but anything on Michigan public land 120+ is a Booner. I heard they're going to make it a sub-category like Couse deer. 100 for P/Y, 120 for BC.

    ...if only.
