    Yeah according to some this is suppose to be best day of the rut. Perfect conditions for most of us but I haven’t seen a deer yet. Not even in my binos

    I did the same on a turkey hunt. Had a nice tom about 55 yards out working toward me. A yote came out of the brush and tried to get the tom. Had it just turned around and went back it would have lived. Nope, kept coming my way. Caught a face full of #4 shot at 20 yards.
