    Alright all set up on this cedar ridge overlooking some really thick stuff... put the VS1 on the boots for the walk in 28 with a hard frost it is beautiful out! Last all day sit of archery season. I likely won’t be out with the bow again until late December. Toe warmers in my boots hand warmers in my pockets, thermos full of hot coffee and I remembered my sandwich today!!! I am set up waiting on light and will be here until the sun sets on this archery season! Have to thank the good lord for all the time I have gotten to spend in the tree this year and the harvest of my doe! Can’t believe the season is over for me after today!!!! Just heard some coyotes howling fairly close... if they cone by they will get an arrow as well! Good luck all shoot straight!!

    Just got to the parking spot about to head in. Waiting on this final harder rain to pass. Getting in a little later than I wanted. Should be just about shooting light by the time I am setup but it was raining too hard to get in earlier. Good

    Personally, I won't hunt in a steady rain. And my camo is water PROOF, but I just don't enjoy hunting in those conditions. Plus, tracking is iffy at best.

    Back in the woods for a morning sit today. Work tonight but saw the biggest buck I've ever seen following a doe yesterday morning. Couldn't not come back today .Who needs sleep anyways. Big buck and 2 small bucks all running her down.

    I second the hazemore seat. Very light and much more comfortable than the flip seat. Can't go wrong w/ a Lone Wolf. They cost but they pack flat and hold up. No sqeaks in the cold.

    Beautiful morning. Sun is just touching the tops of the pines. No wind, 25 degrees, leaves are super frosty and crunchy. So thankful to be out here to enjoy it!
