    I don't mention my faith much on here cause I figure most of you know where I stand. But this morning as I watched the sunrise I was reminded of this scripture. What an awesome God we have!

    Set up in the swamp again. Stupid ass creek kicked my butt once again. Left leg soaked. I moved a tree across it yesterday but failed to realize I can’t cross it coming into the stand.

    Last day of rifle season. Wall hanger or nothing.... I think (we will see if I get trigger happy on a doe).

    Happy Veterans Day to those here who have served. Without you none of this is possible.

    I’ve had 2 come through but too dark to see. Crazy how deer can be the quietist creatures on earth sometimes and then sometimes they sound like a herd of elephants. I didn’t know one deer could make that much noise.

    Pretty sure they are bedded in some willows 100 yards to my north where I saw some chasing go on yesterday.

    And another just broke through the creek.

    So far this AM, I've had sustained winds out of every direction except north. I haven't showered since Wednesday.
    Oh, well. At least the Tinks scent bombs I put out all over are getting a workout.

    Not that there seem to be any bucks remotely interested in getting any tail in central Michigan.

    I believe I just saw a fisher go by. I’ve never seen one in the wild but think that’s what it was.
