    Thanks for the kudos guys, it was an awesome morning.
    I saw the doe on a field edge, she ended up coming into the woods and passing by me. She died 30 yards from the tree,
    I decided to leave her lay and stay put.
    Couple hours later I have a two-year-old eight point right under the tree. He actually was freaked out by my doe for a while and ended up walking off.
    I got some movement down in the creek bottom that I’m overlooking, a big bodied deer. It’s obvious that he’s twice as big as the two-year-old I just saw.
    He crosses the creek and starts heading my way, but going on an angle where I have no shot.
    He’s almost out of sight so I let a couple grunts at him but he can’t hear it. So I ripped a loud snort wheeze and Bam, he spins his head around.
    Now he’s coming my way walking slowly and grunting every five steps. He was walking with the wind and had no idea I was there. It was just so perfect. Gave me a 20 yard broadside shot and the rest is history.
    I spent the rest of the afternoon field dressing, dragging, game carting, and loading them in the truck. It was an adventure.

    Here is the lovely couple getting cozy in the back of a brand new 4Runner.

    Sure it happens. And some owners hsve their head in the sand to put it politely. My neighbor is one. His dogs were on my property half mile away. He of course denied it. Right up to me showing him over 100 pics over a 4 day period. Told him o was putting out traps for yotes snd if i got his dogs too bad!

    That ended it

    But no way I am putting deer on the interior of any vehicle especially a 4 runner :lol:

    I flipped mine to do the field dress and he had ticks everywhere.

    You have to start the goatee a year in advance, once I'm done for the season I shave it down amd start a new. Still trying to grow the grey out of it :lol:
