    It slows you down a little but it’s not to bad. That being said I brought the x bow today for that reason.

    This will definitely go down as my worst hunt of the year. 1 hour to sundown and I just got set up. This place is getting pounded with pressure and I'm rushing around driving 40miles home to deal with crap. Rushing back here.

    Great season buck wise. Terrible season stress wise and actual hunting time. I've probably hunted half of what I normally do.

    Oh well..I'm alive and bowhunting...and there is beer at ho.e.

    Reason I never hunted this parcel before? Illegally (falsely; and intentionally) posted private/no trespassing on the access route trying to landlock this piece of public. Sumbitch trying to weasle another 40 on top of his 80. Nice try, jackwagon. Got away with it for 10 years. Score one for OnX and the DNR.

    I wanted to post a pic of this spot, but service is spotty-took me an hour to catch up on 3 pages of post. Sitting on a 40 yard wide thick tree line between a picked and unpicked corn field connecting a large wood area and 40 acres of thick grassy bedding. Several nice bucks shot from this tree, although I can only shoot a doe...but probably will pass. My brother is a half mile away in the stand I shot the buck 2 weeks ago. Amazing how warm 28 with light winds feels after 18 and 20+mph winds .

    Congratulations TNTJ. Nicely done.

    FYI.. I will "dislike " every post mentioning or pertaining to roll tide. Nothing personal, I just abhor the crimson tide, nick the @#$% a satan, every fan, and their constituents. I dont wish them I'll, but nothing good either.

    I saw a doe an hour ago...lonely lady.

    Amazing how my eyes can pick out a squirrel at 100+ yards thru the woods yet deer routinely get within 20 before I see them.
