I'm in a new tree between two scrapes and s rub. Love this spot but of course I picked wrong trunk. I'll swap tomorrow AM too late today. I can just stand backwards and lean against another trunk facing the way I really should be facing. One of the 4 is too skinny but I literally picked the ONLY wrong one of three.

15418808768471342848607.jpg either one would be fine. And I dropped my ranger. I'm really tempted but I just know if I shimmy down in the climber to grab it and swap tree trnks a booner will jog by.

How do you like that HBS? Is it true that you only need to wear light layers under it? And does it ever get in the way?

I know it's not a bow kill but had to share . In the stand 30 minutes for the afternoon. Then 2 came in chasing a doe . The biggest 1 didn't leave. 20181110_141737.jpg

Sorry dude, they deserve same respect as any other hunted animal. Clean shot or no shot.

I get reaaaal irate when I see hunters on TV flinging arrows at coyotes at ridiculous ranges or on the run. They need thinned out, and bad but do it clean. Good practice for deer anyway.

Four more does just passed by. Still no horns but it seems they are moving early.

I have a bunch of clothes on underneath but not as much as if I didn’t have it on. I typically carry my outer layer to the stand and then slip it on. It’s the same thing for this. Might be different if it wasn’t so windy.

I'm only about 200 yards from what used to be my gimme meat spot. Little bucks and does playing grab ass would run in this direction all the time. I've got sign all over but it's like the woods swallowed everything up. 3 sits and only 2 solo does so far. No other hunters in the vicinity. What the heck...
