I was leaning towards a LW assault hand climber with no bar. I heard there were a lot of moving pieces with the saddle, ropes and what not. Is that true?

Side note. I’m moving to a different spot

Just shot someone’s noisy dog. That’ll be the last time he scares my deer. Shot looked good. A little low though but I’m thinking I definitely clipped the heart. Can see decent blood through my Binos but I’m gonna leave him lay till I’m done hunting.

I hope this is a bad joke. I get dog’s can be annoying when hunting it but killing someone’s pet is not a good way to represent hunting.

Exactly my plan. Seen 2 so far, didn't see antlers on either one. First one over my right shoulder walking W-NE about 75yds, then about 20 mins later second one over my left shoulder walking SW. Between movement in on oppos directions and wind noise head is on a swivel. Exhausting. And cold.

Only 2 ropes. One is the tree tether that you hang from and the other is a linesman rope used for climbing yoyr sticks. You don't need a tree harness, the saddle is load rated. And most saddles are lighter then traditional stand harness.

Holy crap I just snort weezed a bruiser right to me and drilled him.
The shot looked perfect but half of the arrow broke off in him and the other half went flying, he ran out of sight I’m gonna give em a little time .
Not a big rack but definitely a big mature, corn fed son of a *****!

Well, that's a wrap for me today. Just saw the two deer early. Nothing since. Now off to to dad duty and taking my youngest to a birthday party. Good luck to everyone out as you are my only chance to see a dead deer today. Next sit will prob be Monday morning.

Been on stand for about 30 minutes now. Already had nanny doe and her twin fawns come through munch a little clover and bed out in the little bluestem, sunny warm spot, about 60-70 yards away. Glad I didn't take time to pull sd cards, could have been an awkward encounter.
