Got zero signal deep in this holler I'm setting in! No way I can post regularr.

All I can say is that it's a whole lot harder getting on a chasing buck with a xbow scope than it is via a bow peep!!!!

DAMMIT! Just missed a biggun! Right over his back at 30 yards. Maybe 140?

A swing and a miss! 8 does coming thru. Tried to let them get past me but too many eyes. Settled the pin on one but she made me and ducked when I shot. Didn't pull down far enough on her. Oh well, that was fun:) 50 min left.

That wasn't directed at you, just stating you at least had the courtesy to post a pic. Heck , we didn't even know you killed until that post.

You won't be posted to the wall of shame

Getting a clipper moving through the area as I type. Supposed to put down another 1-2" followed by temps dropping into the teens with winds in the 20-30mph range.

Winds are supposed to die down by daybreak and become mild to calm. I will draw blood tomorrow, possibly multiple times with these temps.

I know it wasn't at me, but I did say in another post I would tell the story. A lot was going on that day and I didn't want to post anything until I got home and everything was settled with the buck. I will just say this, another hunter did shoot the buck prior to me. So I was in limbo on what the right thing to do was.

Good Lord this weather is something. Gusty, blustery, rain to snow and back.
Set up on the ground in an oak holler just about 200 yards from pops. He didn't "want no baby sitter."
Got.a.good FOV but head is on a swivel. Gotta see them before they see me, can't hear diddley. Crappy signal so going to airplane mode-

This will be our 2nd time. Our boys are 7 & 5 and had a blast when we went this past March. Everything you need is there, no need to go off the property.

Just had a nice 8 and doe come at 50. Grunted a few times and had him thrashing a tree. He ended following her but I think they are still close. She wanted a drink from the creek behind me. Didn’t get it. Hope they come back. Almost had a shot at both. More details later. I think they are still close.

I GET TO HUNT IN THE MORNING!

Been patiently waiting on the bench, but I'll be over my foodplot pulling all the stops. Wind is right. Time is right. Colder than a well diggers ass in Cutbank Montana, but I'm good to gooooooo!
