    K done with work. I manage a tire distribution business and we get a dusting of snow on the ground and everyone all of a sudden decides they need tires. Happens every year. Good for us but bad for me on rutcation. About to head back out it's cold and windy and I'm defeated, but we push on.

    It’s the right time of the year, the right temperature, yet I am not seeing much buck activity. One spike with only one spike left is not normal for three days in early November. Did I miss the part where they all run around like children at the playground.

    I'm watching some people drive (party hunt) the woods to the south of us. About 10 shots ring out and a doe/2 fawns are barreling across our cut corn field and went into the grass/swamp/small timber we have next to our house. Might take the rifle out there and creep around it to see if they bedded down. Less than 5 acres of cover.

    It's pouring right now and that's why I didn't hit the woods this morning. Very windy tomorrow (gusts up to 35mph), but I might slide in for an evening hunt anyway. If not, Mon looks real good! :tu:

    Update just hung a stand in a down pour gotta go trim a few lanes now. This is the buck I passed the other morning [​IMG]
