That's one of the biggest pieces, especially in a low deer population area

Set up back in the sanctuary area. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I can’t believe how thick it is back here. Mother Nature needs to tell these leaves to give it up already.
Wife killed her first X bow buck from this stand about this time last year.

    Good luck this afternoon.

    Congrats mike great buck!

Lol no not dnoodles. He is probably 18 plus hours from me, now way I'm driving out there after work! Haha

Got update from buddy. First arrow had blood and guts on it, thinking liver and exited out guts. 2nd shot was still in deer. He pulled a Joe shot on that one! He could see blood pumping out and running down deer. 3rd shot missed. He backed out now and waiting. I will probably meet up with him this afternoon to go get his buck.

Well that’s a wrap for today. Had a 8 point do it perfect. I sprayed tinks on my boots on the walk in and he came running down the same path. Had him at 7 yards. Didn’t feel the urge to shoot so he got a pass. He was maybe a tad passed the ears width wise. And tines were kinda short. Solid 2 year old. Here are a few pics from the morning.

Live from at work. Got called in for a couple hours. Great timing. Hope to be back in the woods around 1pm or so. Going back to the creek bottom. That's really the only place I've been seeing deer. Wind not good for that spot but its time to get aggressive. This afternoon may be the last hunt of my deercation.

Still at it. Finished my coffee and called a little, within 1 min I had a spike and 6p come out into the field.
