    Work has done without me for a week, unless my trainee got fired while I was gone for effing stuff up, they can deal with me being sick.

    Neighbor shot something about 200 yards to the north of me and then drove his wheeler all through the hay field our swamp butts up to (I’m 50yds from the field). Hunt ended prematurely.

    2 does spotted. Had such high hopes for tonight.

    Take it with a grain of salt, only one model and one run. Some of the models have a hard time dealing with ground temps and overdo totals. Inch to inch and a half looking pretty good though.

    Dropping into lower teens tomorrow night though, Saturday will be cold weather gear.

    As much as I want to hunt snow, think I'm taking tomorrow off and go in with the cold Saturday morning. With it that cold I should have the place to myself and hopefully put one down by 9am. Think I'm gonna try to fill doe tags since they seem so abundant.

    Didn't see a darn thing tonight except for Birds. But it took me forever to get set up in that tree I had a ton of branches to cut. I left the set there, going to hit it again in the morning but then if nothing again move on. It's got everything a deer would want, only 100 yards W of all that honeysuckle where all those grapes were. You just cannot set up inside that honeysuckle... Unless I pull a swamp stalker.

    I'm using VS1 for the first time this season. Haven't had anything come into it yet, but I've always been a big fan of EverCalm. It works almost too well, does and young bucks come right in and don't leave.
