    Wise choice. From the blood looks like maybe liver. Definitely guts from the looks of the arrow. Is the white hair in the pic point of impact?

    Been keeping hands covered so no playing around on phone. Been slow morning. Saw some back at neighbors beans again but nothing has came by me yet. Don't know if give it much more. Would like to get blind set out so may cut it short this morning

    Was the shot a steep angle? If so guessing exit through stomach and white hair. 2nd rib back might have nicked the lung. But more than likely all liver and some stomach. I would give minimum 6 hours. If he dies sooner he will still be there. I would be concerned to push him. You are making a wise choice by waiting.

    Welp trying something new today. Got off work at 5am in the tree by 8:30. Sitting till dark. Got in as clean as I could of hope besides the fact I sounded like a elephant.

    It looks like liver. Time is your friend. I liver shot my first archery buck two years ago with similar blood. I took up the track two and half hours after the shot. Blood trail disappeared quick, backed out overnight and came back the next morning. He was dead 100 yards away in a river. Don't push him.
