    I’m all set. The spot I picked last night is a semi think pine thicket made for an interesting morning so far lol. I also feel like a Richard with all this orange on. I’m ready to kill.

    It's a double edged sword. Growing up in (upstate) NY, but hunting Southern tier, we as much orange as possible.

    In NC we just need enough to be viewable from 360 degrees, which a hat can pretty much meet the requirement.

    In both, I've still had others (hunting waterfowl or small game) reign shot in on me and errant rifle shots hit uncomfortably close.

    Nothing beats solid cover.

    To an from my stand awesome really don’t care. In my stand just bugs me. You can take it off here in va for muzzle once in stand (not on this public land) but they require it on in stand for firearm which I don’t agree with but w/e I can shut up and color

    So far, what I thought was a doe being chased by me before daylight ended up being a pack of yotes. They decided to light up at about 60 yards and I completely came unglued. Hope I’m still in the game. Or at least a few of those show back up lol

    33 degrees with a decent frost on the ground. The neighbors cows must be pretty pissed about it because they have not shut up all morning.
    Setup over an oak flat that borders one of our food plots. Hoping for some action.
