You know how many hunts I've logged this year and I've only seen 4 deer all season!! I haven't seen a single doe yet! Guess its good all my deer have been bucks to this point but still lol. Keep at it!

Well guys I finally just got home. Had a roller-coaster of a day and it's a very long story, to long to post. But I ended up shooting my number 1 buck at 4 pm this afternoon. Not the way I wanted everything to happen but I got him! 20181107_154610.jpeg 20181107_162336.jpeg

    Alarm is set 0230.....

trying not to overthink what spot to hunt. I haven't been to the woods in over a week. I'll start the day in a groundblind at the pinch point, but will have the leaf suit to roll with whatever feels right. I have my other groundblind setup on a small hill where the bucks cruise every night, then during the day in the rut, (Run i shot my buck from last year) I haven't been in it yet. This run dumps out at the pinchpoint I'll be at.

    And they taste like bobcat.

Not gonna lie, the cougar would probably concern me more than the bear.

Thanks! It was a crazy day. And was so focused on it, didn't get to post. I actually shot him from the ground.
