    this isn't a broadhead thread and I'm no fixed blade hater, but Montecs are freaking tiny. Even 125s are pretty small. Very little margin of error.

    Working on a ladder stand mod and then packing for MI in the AM. I am free to hunt thru Monday AM. If I am lucky enough to tag out I'm going to cut MI short and head to NE Indiana for a quick hang and hunt.

    I kind of figured you guys were close just by following the thread. I hunted some public in Missouri in early October but got tired of packing the Lone Wolf in every sit. My family has a trailer near Ky Lake and I learned the land near the lake is open to public hunting. So I opted to come set up here. About a 5 minute walk to my stand from the trailer door. Hard to beat the convenience! Tags were reasonable for out of state as well. $260 total for 1 buck and 3 does? Archery or gun!

    Good early morning folks! Been waiting for this day all season!!! I'm out the door for my first all day sit of the rut! Perfect weather today, and I'm hoping to see the tall brow buck. Hopefully I can show some pics of him with my bow sitting on top of him!! It's a killing day in my woods!! Best of luck for those fortunate enough to be out today. :tu::nana:

    Here we go. November 7th "the best hunting day of the year so.e say. DeerCast says Great all day today. And that's never been incorrect once in it's history for anyone ever.

    Here we are, November 7th one of the holiest hunting days!! And I am set up in a tree waiting for light! Won’t be a long sit as I have to be at work by 10 (unless I get one) I am trying out wild carrot doe in estrus for the first time and man that stuff stinks!!! Hoping it brings in a big boy!! happy November 7th everyone, good luck and shoot straight!
