Alright, tomorrow and up to the next 5 days are going to go off without a hitch. Clothes washed, alarm(s) adjusted for the time change and turned on. Got the gopro mounted and tested.

Going to apologize in adadvance. The signal Friday was the poorest I have ever seen it out there. Uploading pics will likely not be an option so if I get enough signal to post something good happened please do not expect pics anytime soon thereafter. The stand I will be sitting had absolutely zero signal the few hours I switched to it to give my back a break. It'll likely not be until I get back home.

I'm hoping they just had tower problems last week or something and have it fixed. Never seen it that bad in any of the last 10 years. Can't imagine it would be the leaves still on, but if so maybe it will be better.

If not back to the stoneage

Sorry to hear of your mother-in-law's passing. My mom died from cancer at 64. Nasty, sneaky disease!

Now there's 3 behind me in neighbors. One is bedded down. Like other day sittin here its a long shot they come this way but never know. Been telling myself last couple year was gonna try and get permission to hunt the farm they're on but never have. Probably all it'd take is a phone call. Oh well

It's been slow here this afternoon with no movement so far. And I just dropped my grunt tube so I hope I don't need that.

Saw my first deer at 1:45, a fawn in the hillside.

About a half hour later a single mature doe came in and fed for about 20 minutes at 30 yards. The whole time I could hear another deer behind her a ways but I never saw it. She finally fed away.

Now I just saw a nice buck cruising the other side of the valley about 100 yards away.

About an hour left in this hunt. All the action last night happened in the last 20minutes. I imagine tonight will be the same if I see anything.

    Exactly.

I have yet to see a gut deer shot that didn't bed down within a hundred yards that wasn't pushed AT ALL.
