Wind is going pretty good here. Had a lone doe pass by me about 0730. That is all.

Well upon further review and last nights trail camera pictures the deer are not going thru the plot till after dark, not sure why I was not busted in any of my sits. I will forgo hunting this afternoon and head to the daughters and get started on the deer they have hanging. I like cutting up deer and showing my son in law how to process a deer in the way that the venison is the way my daughter likes is a bonus. Heck by the time they get home from work I can have 1 half done and leave the other half as instructional.

Good luck today everyone!! I'll be here all day following along. Nasty rain here, I made the right choice to rest one more day I think. 5 days of madness for me starting on Thursday. My wife also leaves for Florida tomorrow night at 11:30 till monday. :woot::rock:

Needing some advice, got a doe bedded down about 50 yards in front of me. She's been there about an hour. Seen 4 does all together. Should I just wait it out or try some grunting to see if can get any bucks up and moving? She's in think stuff, all I can see is her head

You are asking a guy who posts shower selfies if he is feeling normal?? J/k, good question. I was thinking about the rescue plan if you get in the woods and start feeling bad? You may need to post GPS coordinates. :-)

I'd be quiet, you start making sounds and it may spook them. You have live bait, sit and let their scent carry through the woods.

Keep her there. perfect decoy. Grunting might push her and there might not be any bucks around at the moment.
