Here he is guys and gals! Not the biggest deer but like I said a pretty, nice, respectable 3.5 year old buck in my home state of Michigan and I couldn’t be any happier! It’s been a fantastic year so far and with one more buck tag for Michigan I am very excited to see what happens next week with my scheduled vacation time! Woh woh woh. Hold on there.

I’m not blaming the cop for my choice to go over the limit. Never did. I mean the guy said to me “you have two options. You can pay and admit guilt or go to court and plead not guilty to a judge or jury” I stopped him there. I said “why would I say I’m not guilty? I was speeding, pretty hard to argue that one”. The guy was actually sorta nice. Just businesslike really. I was more pissed at myself, not him. Sure, my original post kinda sounded like it was his fault that I didn’t get off but that’s not the way it is. I mean think of it like this. I was pissed that I have to pay a decent amount of money for something easily avoided so I was frustrated. Junior I agree with your post other than the fact that it jumps to a whole bunch of dumb conclusions about blaming him for my vehicular irresponsibility.

Jesus, it was anecdotal and funny that my weekend ended like that. I wasn’t trying to cause an internet uproar over it. I can be super literal and serious from now on because many things hit many nerves.

Yeah, the woods are super crunchy with acorns and I still have a lot of persimmons hanging.

    My B!
I just have so much respect for the work the boys in blue do, I hate seeing them get bashed. I interpreted your post wrong.

Just own up to what you said... dont play it off like a joke. He was just doing his job.

Not trying to be a jerk but I have a lot of friends and some family in law enforcement and most are just doing their job and trying to make it safe for everyone. Yeah some can be jerks at times but for the most part its a hard thankless job and a lot of people give them **** just for doing their job. They dont need to be called a "dbag" just for giving someone a ticket. Just sayin.

Well Shane, at this point it's water over the dam. I truly believe you learned a lesson (we all do) this time around, and now maybe folks can stop :deadhorse:. You're alright in my book.

Oh Jesus Christ. I’m not one of the millennials going around chanting f*** the law enforcement. Get over yourself; I was frustrated that I got a ticket. I’m not so irrational as to legitimately believe that it’s his fault. Don’t you have anything more stimulating to do this afternoon than interpreting my words FOR ME?

That's all I'm saying, dont think he was saying f to police. But seems if anyone makes a discouraging remark about cops that's the way it's taken.

Regardless back to hunting ha. Today's pretty miserable here weather wise. Windy and rain. Good luck to anybody out. I've been debating after last night but idk if it'd be worth it or not
