    I don't have any issues with that because my stand is taped with friction/hockey tape, so my boots stay in the proper position.

    Well my 5 day in the woods was short lived. First day was promising, seen 8. 3 were buck, 1 I may have shot if I had the chance. Day 2, woke up with sinus infection, rut-cation over. Just wasn’t my year. Had the season of a lifetime for me last year so can’t complain. I’ll be living thru you guys so good luck and shoot straight!

    I found my buck last night. It was a cool hunt. I’m hunting a public spot that has more human sign than deer haha. I set up an observation stand and saw a bunch of nice bucks moving in and out of a swamp on the northern end of a big lake. I made a move the next evening and set up. I saw a huge buck come out and go opposite direction. Then I heard some fighting and he sent this smaller buck my way. It all happened so fast. He ran right under my tree, I drew and stopped him and drilled him. Let him lay for a few hrs. He didn’t go but maybe 50 yds. Couldn’t be happier. Of course I wish the bigger one came my way but it’s been a while and this opportunity got my adrenaline going. Just wanted to update you guys my phone is acting up so I’ll post a few pics later

    Just a quick story as I’m driving using talk to text. He came in just after first light and I saw his frame and immediately grab my bow he came to 20 yards smelled the scent drag that I brought in turn broadside and I put it right through the pump house! Both lungs top of the heart and he went about 40 yards. I am driving out to throw him in the walk in cooler right now and I will add some pictures here in the next hour or so. Just up pretty, nice respectable block that I definitely wasn’t going to pass up!

    Piss poor slow morning with zero sightings. This has been the slowest start to a season in a long while. Normally i have at least seen a shooter or two but not this year. Just the same eight does and fawns, same fork, 2 six pointers and an eight that's barely a 120". No shooters on cam day or night. They've ghosted me.
