I had sort of the same issue call the DNR for your area and let them know what’s going. Let them deal with it, it’s an expensive ticket he will learn his lesson quickly.

ended up rattling in a giant only to find it's right side was stunted or broke off. I elected to pass hoping he will grow correctly next year. then I seen another big one about 150yds but couldn't see exactly what he was. all I know is he was big enough. this new spot shows promise! tomorrow I'm heading out scouting since the deer will be at church.

Guess Friday was a tease seeing a couple bucks. Today- 0 sightings!!!! Tomorrow is thunderstorms in the morning before another front pushes through.

    Question
    7am-east wind
    10pm west wind.

Do you take the chance with the rain to wash scent away and hunt it based on west winds or play for a east wind and move locations in the morning

Good luck on the recovery, when in doubt back out. Night can mess with ya when trail is questionable.

Yea, I spoke to the local warden, who i happen to be friends with (insert evil laugh?)....just ticks me off.

Guy is from Colorado. When he was asked what would have happened if he was caught trespassing in Colorado he got really quite...

If he cut trees on another's property, aside from limbs hanging over their property, you could possibly get criminal damage to property as well.

Wouldn't take a conservation violation for that.

Sometimes you have to get tough and let them know it's not accepted on any level.

Congrats to all that were successful today! Saw nothing for 8 hours but then the last 10 minutes or so had 3 does come out. Unfortunately they stayed out of bow range until dark. My next plan is to hit my neighborhood spot mid week and try to get a doe or 2 down for the homeowners. And try to keep up with all the action on here.

Message to the deer, I feed you I grow you a half acre of clover there are 9 apple trees and 2 pear trees that you get all the fruit from them, 150 pounds of feed a week, minerals and pumpkins. You have 1 job to show up the first week of November and draw bucks, year 3 you have not held up your end of the deal. I am switching stands and going back to the old ladder stand on the east side of the food plot. I will not be sitting my bow will be in my hand and I will shoot you as soon as you are in range. I gave you does a chance and you failed I have two tags and there will be blood.
