    Well... they left and never came back so I’m assuming they missed. After thinking about it I would have been ok with it. I think a mom had her son out there and I’d be fine with whatever he took.

    Small bucks are in almost full rut here in MN. Think I saw 5 or 6 small bucks and all of them were either chasing or seeking grunting the entire time.

    It's neat just to experience the rut, hearing the grunting and watching the chasing. Sounds like you had a great hunt without killing something.

    Last two sits were for a total of ten hours and saw zero deer. Ouch. To be fair it was the same stand both times and it's more set up for early season and i never really see much there after harvest. That's my excuse at least.
