    Once again I saw nothing.

I haven't seen a single deer since that cougar walked through.

Maybe it's time to find a new spot.

    Nothing for me tonight.

Question for you guys. I got my Alphaburleys around this time last year and the heel on both of them is worn out (the fabric is worn down and there’s a sharp ridge in the heel, creating blisters on both my heels even through my thick merino wool socks).

Does anyone know a quick fix to repair? I’ve thought maybe a few bandaids? Duct tape?

Think I ordered them too big.

Nothing for me tonight. I will back at it in the morning. Going to my best rut stand, and haven't hunted it in the morning this year. Should be good hunt tomorrow!

Zip, Nada, Zilch, No Soup for Me!!

Didn't see anything since the initial update this morning.

And with that said, looks like this is the end for me in the thread as intended to be. I don't know what cell companies have against Jacksonville/Morgan Co. IL but it has actually gotten worse. A lot of complaints about only having two bars while in the middle of town and spotty data.

I used to be able to get internet from two stands, one I no longer hunt and the other gets it once in a blue moon now. It's too frustrating trying to get on here.

So it's shut up and hunt from here on out.

That said, going to try and hunt tomorrow. Really going to depend on how my back amd arse feel

Took a seat pad with me that I have been using for the ladder stands. Took it off a tree seat and added extra foam.

Guess what got left in the bed of the truck?....

This was my seat for about 9 hours. Also has a back brace that is about 14" up across the top. It is the most uncomfortable stand I have ever sat in my life, but it used to be an awesome location so I sat the morning and moved in the past.

I don't know if it has been overhunted this season, deer shot or just a bad day for movement.

I'm so sore right now, feels like I fell from 5 feet on my tailbone.

Things have turned around. My deer sighting-less days are over. Saw two small bucks tonight. Watched a spike go past me and got out of sight and started sparing with another buck that I couldn't see. Shortly after their confrontation I heard my first ever snort wheeze from a deer. Hopefully my luck continues this weekend

Wasn't available at the stand lol. If it would have been a little warmer I'd have stripped layers, but forgot my facemask and neck gator both. Wind was light but man it was filtering down the back of my neck.

Another thing, I forgot my friggen lucky fireballs in the truck as well.

Heading to bed, see how I feel at 4am.

The stand I killed last years buck from has 3 scrapes at it, being Saturday there might be more hunters.

I seen they set up a ground blind and trail cam at this spot. Was also a trail cam where I sat today. That could be another factor affecting deer movement.

I had it all with me, just bought some new Ultimate Camo pants. Got them washed, supposed to be same size as my old ones. Went to put them on and wouldn't even pull up to my waste so I started messing with them, they changed the design with adjustable waist cinches. Still wouldn't fit, so got frustrated there and threw them in the bed of the truck covering up the cushion.

I never forget anything like that. Actually usually take more than I need. Day just started out wrong and didn't turn around.
