    Why does the hunting suck why are there no deer why is the rut a myth why did I drive 150 miles by myself to sleep in my car for a week and see nothing

    First sit on dads new farm. Wonderfully peaceful stand by a creek. No deer yet but should be heating up anytime this should be a good spot

    Big flock of turkeys in the woods behind me. Between them and the combine right next to me it’s impossible to hear anything. Cool hearing the hens chirp back and forth though.

    Well that’s it for VT bow season. Off to Youth weekend with the kids the next two days. Might take the bow out during rifle season some starting next weekend.

    Well I am officially into plan D for tomorrow, going to hunt my dads stand(he insists and already got his buck this year) that has been a good buck killing stand for the past several years in the last two weeks of the season!
