Good luck to the morning shift crew. I'm leaving around 1245 from work and will be headed up to my lease this afternoon. Hopefully it gets done this weekend for me!

Beautiful morning in NY but only a red squirrel so far. Learned a valuable lesson about face paint in the pitch dark, don't do it!!I checked it when it got light, my goodness! 1541161873304.jpeg 1541161897383.jpeg

Slow so far. Heard a few things in the willows but not chasing. Only have an hour or hour an a half until my “appointment” is up and need to be back at work (thankfully I work from home today).

You can't work from the stand? I have a wifi hotspot that you can use.

It's a cold, damp morning. Nothing yet but one squirrel.

I actually could if I wanted. Just have to monitor emails today. I hate having my work email on my phone though. At my last job I had work email on my phone and I never stopped checking/responding after work hours. Said eff it this time not doing it.

Hunting out of a brush blind with a good buddy of mine today on his father in laws place. I’ve got the bow in hand and he’s got the smoke pole. They are over run with pigs down here so if they come in I’m sticking one. My friend is looking to kill his first buck. Had a nice 8 pt come in yesterday evening but couldn’t get a shot off. We’ll see what happens, nothing yet. Good luck today boys!

I tell you this tree stand umbrella is a life saver.
Leaves are ridiculous, I don’t want to hunt a field edge but I can’t see anything in the woods...

Double bearded Tom was begging to die this AM...any other time except Nov 1-15....

No deer since the ones I bumped going in. Gonna give it 2-2.5 more hours and creep into my other stand. It's deeper, didn't want to push every damn deer on the parcel out in the dark.

Hah, I just realized I have staging stands like deer do plots. Completely unintentional but the way this property hunts deer bed everywhere. Impossible not to bump at least a few
