    I expect a deer down by the time I land in Norfolk VA.

    48 hrs without a down deer may be unprecedented.

    Just had a spike walk by at 25. Came out of the bottom and in front of me just like I had hoped. Just a little too small.

    Look up aiders. They are very easy to make. Attached to bottom of each stick and you can get to 18-20' just off three sticks. That's what I do.

    I just had a standoff with a nanny doe with 2 fawns for 30 minutes. She caught me 100 yards out, blew and stomped forever. Eventually made it all the way to 20 yards. I drew on her twice at 30 and once at 20 but she wouldn't give me a shot.

    I shoot my bow off my roof at 25 so I like to be right around there so I'll have to pick up 2 sets or start off with screw in pegs

    Just got released. Still feeling the same headache dizziness and nausea. They gave me a few prescriptions, and awaiting the results of the Lyme test. Gonna lay low on bed rest till Monday.

    It finally and quite unexpectedly stopped raining here. I don't have time to get out this afternoon but I'll be out tomorrow morning with a score to settle.

    With that in mind, I had a few minutes to kill so here is my song for my next sit. While I never cared for the musical "Annie" this was a catchy tune:

    I did actually get out in the rain and finally hang two trail cameras this afternoon.

    I'd really like to get a pic or some video of that cougar.
