    Well, my odds of getting a buck on Nov. 6th isn't look8ng to change this year. Heavy rain and high winds possible.

    I may still be able to hunt though, just depends on how heavy the rain is. Uncle built a box blind at his favorite stand site when getting into a stand became too cumbersome. It's the only permanent set I have never killed a deer from, maybe that changes this year.

    All set up and ready to go. 45 min. until daylight. To get to this stand I have to come in by the property line fence. As I’m walking in, I notice a trailer mounted shooting house not 20 ft from the property line that wasn’t there 2 weeks ago... as I’m getting a little deeper into the trees, a big corn feeder goes off about 15 ft from me...Scared the crap out of me! Glad to know the neighbors waited till now to get setup and right next to the property line...Oh well, maybe I should thank them for feeding the buck I’m gonna shoot outta here this morning. :evilgrin:
