    Good luck if you take up the trail again, them bone are brutal and described as a "crack!" when hit. I've never solidly hit the bone but I've lodged one in the scapula without a recovery.

    I aim back anymore, I've recovered more deer in eyesight from the stand with a double lung about 6-7" behind the front leg than trying to get heart. I like the paper plate rather than the apple for my target :lol:

    Man I step away for 2 hours for a prebirthday dinner and 2 bucks go down! Congrats tony and Junior those are great looking bucks! I’ll be out in the morning, I’m prepped and ready to kill, taking the parents truck instead of the car... got the deer cart packed, heading to the private farm where I shot my doe earlier this year! Feeling confident that I will finally get a birthday buck!!! I will see you all in the AM!

    I'll be in there on the 2nd and until the 11th if that is what it takes, 10 straight days of what I think will be prime. Might be rained on a few early sits and the heat coming back towards the end, but whining is my motto.

    The forecast is definitely messed up for the next week or so. Scattered showers and worse is the high winds almost every day. Good luck though!

    I'm not so concerned about pro quality. I just got a new iPhone and at this point, I might just get a bow mount for it and go that route. I bet it gets better video than the Gopro, and most of the others just aren't dependable from what I see.
