    I know what you mean, our season ends the 10th, I can’t stand it. Fortunately I’ve been hearing some good reports from some hunting buddies in the area. According to them some of the mature bucks have started chasing. This week should be really good if I can get out.

    Set up in small woodlot tucked up by the road. It’s a tick and nasty bedding area and my only option with this wind.
    I shot my biggest buck from this stand and always get some good trail cam photos of good bucks cruising for does through here so who knows.

    Back in the swamp/rut stand... And guess what? It’s a complete wrong wind for it but I could really care less at this point. I showered and soaked my clothes in scent free crap. Need to hunt my best stands before rifle opener this weekend.

    Just had a spike almost commit suicide by Bowhunter628. Came into 20 yds while I’m basically on the ground. Thought it was a good sized doe and almost let him have it till I saw two fully sharpened number 2 pencils sticking out of his head lol

    After a great sit last night, back at a lease my family has hoping for more action. Passed a little buck last night band some does we're too far, but hoping to catch deer headed to the soybean field. Not much wind to speak of and a real nice sitting night to enjoy the evening.
