He will definitely be on the wall! The antlers haven’t left my sight since I’ve been home and I hate to say it but are actually locked in the safe right now lol. I believe he will reside right next to a nice 10 pt I shot in Ohio about 4 years ago!

Man you guys have been on it and seem to be covered up in deer for the most part. I’ve tried to make it seem like getting back in a stand after my trip hasn’t been real important but after not hunting since last Thursday I have recently picked up smoking and snorting cocaine to try to relieve my urges! Ill be back at it Thursday evening, good luck guys, kill them all!

You ever think of trying different chunks of public land?

Yes lol. However, There are absolute monsters in here and it’s my own fault for not putting in the off-season man hours of boots on the ground to find out where they bed at and why. I’m actually sitting on a gold mine, and this off-season I’m going to finally make the changes.

I have exercised other options, my good friend Matt (smitty 0220) has gotten me on some prime doe killing land in RI. I’m very great full and thankful, but I like the big hardwoods. No handouts, everything is earned.

Had one earlier this fall but it stopped working. the pinch point I was at on Friday:

I’m going full bore Beast (Dan Infalt) next season. I have a thousand plus acres pretty much to myself. I need to locate bedding from terrain features, investigate and attack.

Always remember to check your stands before leaving the house. Did a run and gun setup about a mile back in the woods. Pick out a tree and go to set my climber just to realize that a bolt used for supporting the bottom pieces tree strap is missing. I set my stand 1 foot off the ground so I’m not crunching a bunch of leaves and have a place to sit but I’m livid right now.

Nice, never seen you post a trail cam pic before. Seemed like you were pretty remote and not crowded out there.

He looks like he has some funky palmation on his left side
