All set up on the back line/doe run. Hoping for a 2.5 year old buck to come through, or a doe.

I don't think the BIG bucks are paying attention to the calender...dont they know they should be running, chasing and grunting right now

Man, that really sucks for Mike. The landowner has that right to refuse access to his property but it’s pretty shi++¥ if you ask me. Hopefully he can keep his head up and get back out there. It happens to the best of us!

I've read this kind of ending several times in the past, and it does suck. That's why I would have taken my chances and go on that property (depending on the layout) to retrieve that buck without asking. A trespass fine would be worth the risk to get my buck and not have a wasted deer. jmo

That is so ****ty. Why are some people like that?

Part of me would want to risk getting a trespassing ticket to hopefully find the deer, but part of me knows that it's the landowners right to refuse access.

Not to be a Richard but here in Minnesota you can track across a property line without asking permission, you do have to leave the property if the landowner requests or tells you to leave. That is the route I would take.

Slow morning , saw some deer before light, buck pushed a doe for about 5 secs in the dark, other than that saw another small buck walk by. Suppose to jump to 60 degrees this evening so I’m sitting it out. Might hunt the morning depending on weather. Action is def still slow here. Pulled my set and will be relocating. Checked cams and pretty empty, it’s like the calm before the storm or something.

Somehow I feel that if the game commission wanted on the property for themselves, they would have made it happen. Crappy situation.

Can't even get a warden to come out and try to reason with the property owner?
